The lightweight jacket has a detachable hood that is fastened with push buttons. The hood has an elastic edge in the face opening and a little brim that shields from wind and weather. The sleeves and waist have elastic edges. The jacket opens with a continuous zipper with chin guard and internal wind pole. At the front there are practical pockets with zipper.
